Site Development for new Taco Bell on RT 50 West
We handled the complete site package for the new Taco Bell off Route 50 West right here in Winchester. From raw land to a finished, ready-to-build pad, our crew delivered every aspect of the heavy work so the general contractor could stay on schedule and open the restaurant on time. After 35+ years serving the tri-state area, we know how to get it done right the first time—clean, dependable, and with zero surprises.

Site Work
We managed the full scope of site work that turned an empty lot into a polished, functional restaurant site. That meant clearing the area, building up the pad, and handling all the surrounding grading and transitions so everything tied together perfectly. The general contractor didn’t have to chase multiple subs or worry about coordination—we took ownership of the entire site and handed over a clean, level surface ready for the next phase.
Excavating and Grading
Precision excavating and grading formed the foundation of the entire project. We cut, filled, and compacted the soil to exact specifications, creating a rock-solid base for the concrete, curb, gutter, and asphalt work. Every elevation was checked and double-checked so there were no soft spots, settling issues, or rework later. The result was a perfectly flat, stable pad that let the building crews move in and stay on budget and on schedule.
Utilities and Water/Sewer
We dug every trench, placed the water and sewer lines, and backfilled the entire utility run with care. Working around the tight restaurant footprint, we made sure all lines were installed at the correct depth and slope for proper flow and long-term performance. Once the utilities were in place, we restored the surrounding site work so the area looked clean and undisturbed—another headache the general contractor didn’t have to deal with.
Concrete Services
The Taco Bell site was completed without a single delay in the heavy-work phase. The general contractor got a turnkey site—fully prepped, utilities in place, and ready for the building crew. That’s the Pine Knoll difference: local, experienced, and fully equipped to handle the whole job from start to finish.
Heavy Hauling & Material Delivery
We used our own internal trucking fleet for the entire job—no third-party haulers, no scheduling conflicts, and no extra costs passed along. Our dump trucks, lowboys, and step decks delivered every load of stone, gravel, fill dirt, and other materials right when it was needed. That meant tighter control over the timeline, fewer trucks idling on site, and a cleaner property for the neighbors. Materials showed up on our schedule, not someone else’s.
Project Delivered on Time and Done Right
Our team placed every foot of curb and gutter with clean, crisp lines and tight tolerances. We coordinated directly with the concrete and asphalt crews so pours and paving happened without delays or overlap problems. From forming to finishing, we made sure every transition between curb, sidewalk, and parking areas was smooth and professional—exactly what a busy fast-food location needs to handle heavy daily traffic.
